This special event isn’t just about scoring goals—it’s about standing united in the fight against cancer for a brave little warrior, Mia.

About Mighty Mia

Mia’s story is one of remarkable courage and resilience. At just six years old, after enduring a year of unexplained vomiting and persistent headaches, her parents pushed for further medical testing. An MRI revealed a brain tumor in the fourth ventricle of her brain, the root cause of her relentless symptoms.

Following her diagnosis, Mia underwent a craniotomy and tumor resection, which identified the tumor as cancerous and treated like Medulloblastoma. Her treatment journey has been grueling, involving:

• 30 rounds of full brain and spine radiation
• 5 cycles of chemotherapy
• Numerous additional treatments, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy, high-dose steroids, and surgeries to address complications.

Despite these challenges, Mia’s spirit remains unshaken. Her strength and positivity inspire everyone around her. Let’s rally together to show her she’s not alone in this fight.
